Looking for recent Nick Hotel report

Hi,
Well we got back last night. We loved the place. The kids never wanted to leave to go to the parks. They played in the pools and joined in with the games. Two of our kids got to get slimed and a pie in the face. One of them got to even pie their grandpa....Grandpa is such a good sport. He took it like a man.
About the food. We ate three times at the buffet. It was hot and really good. I didn't like the Sea food one but I don't really like seafood...So I had the cook to order pasta and shrimp and crab dish.....It really was good.
The only thing I didn't like was A&W. They seem to have a hard time keeping the food hot. We ate at Pizza hut and it was just like at home. The deli had great sandwiches. We had with us 22 family members and most of us thought the food was good.
The kids really love the breakfast with Spong Bob.....and Dora.
Ours really was good. I was very aware of all the bad reports and I was really prepared for the worse. But it really was a great trip.
Our rooms were so fun.
The night before our flight we stayed at a Marriott in Seattle. We payed $140.00 for two beds. so when everyone went in our rooms with a nice living room and two bedrooms for about the same price they loved it. I know the kids rooms is small but at least they had a place for there own space.
We had room service for breakfast one morning it it was as my grandson would say.awesome....
We stayed at this hotel for a week and nver wished we hadn't.
Maybe I'm not as picking as some others or maybe we (all 22 of us) just got lucky but we think this is on top of the list for great vacations.
The only thing that was not great was the weather.....But we did have to hot days (hot for us) and the days we were at the parks was in the sixties without rain. I know some of my family were hoping for like 80's...But for me sixties was perfect...
have a great trip,
Carla

We stayed for two nights in July and my kids loved it. It's funny but in the summer the A&W was the best of the lot. It sounds like they improved the buffet since then. We really didn't care we just went over to DTD for dinner. The kids loved the pools and the activities. We also went to one of the nighttime Nick shows and it was really good. Housekeeping was great and we thought the room was fine. The kids loved their little room with the bunk beds. We would definitely go back.

We stayed there when it was still called the Holiday Inn Family Suites but had a look around earlier this year and really like the new look - if you do a search on Nick Hotel I am sure you will find lots of information because it has been discussed a lot recently.
