Hello all!

I was hoping that some of my fellow Ontarians might have received a presale code for the Disney on Ice show (Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey) that will be playing at the Rogers Centre this December. The preferred sales start tomorrow morning so I am running out of time!!

Thanks!!

For any of you who are interested, I was able to find an obscure code for the Disney on Ice show by doing a search of these boards. I did not think that there was any chance that it would work (I believe that it was for a show in the US...maybe even a different show altogether) however I tried it about ten minutes ago and was able to get some great seats. The code is ZXA!!!

First of all, I have no idea how to post a link so I apologize in advance!! I simply went to the ticketmaster website and under search typed in Disney on Ice. You have to choose the December calendar to get the dates for the Rogers Centre. As I understand it, tickets go on sale to the general public on November 4th, however, you can purchase them starting today using the preferred customer code that I listed previously. I have no idea how popular these shows are so you may still be able to get decent seats even if you wait until November however I wanted to go on a specific date so I was glad to be able to purchase early and was able to get great seats. There was no discount on tickets though. I have heard of some discount codes but I wasn't able to find one. Hope this helps!!

What seats did you take Newcastle? I punched it in and could get front row VIP ... at $80 a pop! Wow! Do you think level 100 would be ok? I don't exactly get the configuration ... is it not set up like a regular skating rink with one end the entrance for the skaters and the rest is seating?? What does field level mean? Is it kind of like the Wiggles (floor seats and then regular seats) ... how does the field level see with no elevation? And why in the heck haven't the Disney Princesses come here??? (just had to throw that last one in ... that is who I'd pay $80 to see in the front row just to see the girls faces!! ... pathetic I know  )

Kerri (still confused  )

Hi Kerri,

I have to admit that I am a sucker and coughed up the $80 a pop so that my kids could sit in the front row. I can honestly say that this will NOT be something that we will be doing regularly! We usually sit in the level 100 seats in the 119 or 124 section and we have never had any problems seeing the show. Although I have never sat in the on field sections, I have heard that the on field VIP seats aren't the best because unless you are in the front row, it is difficult to see around the people sitting in front of you. There are the on field temporary stands but I have heard some people complain that the seats are uncomfortable. However, it's not like it's a very long show so I can't imagine it being too much of a problem. Anyway, sorry I couldn't be of more help. Maybe the princesses will come next year!!

Trying to decide whether or not to do this or not. LOL I just got the card in the mail today. We went a couple of years ago and it was fun but...not as good as it could have been. (Toooooooo many people walking up and down the stairs....we couldn't see anything half the time!!!!) grrrrrrrrr

<sigh> Decisions, decisions...
