Looking for others who were at MK on Saturday, May 15th

My Mom and I were fortunate enough to open the Magic Kingdom on Saturday, May 15th. Unfortunately, the CM who was attempting to take the video with my camera did not know how to use it and got nothing. The Kodak people were also supposed to be there to take still pictures.....guess what......they were not!

I am trying to find someone who may have been there that day and has some pictures of the opening with us in it. My Mom turned 78 on this trip. She is not in great physical condition, so it took a great effort for her to make it to the platform. This was a very special moment for us, and I am desperately trying to find someone who has pictures and would be willing to send me the file (if digital) or a print. I would be glad to pay any cost associated. If someone has video, I would also be willing to pay any expenses if I could get a copy.

We didn't go to any parks that day...I wish that I could help you. I think I have some pictures of the opening on Sunday, May 16th...SORRY!

I have pictures of a veteran who participated in the flag retreat at the magic kingdom last June (2003) second week?
I wish I knew who he was. I know that if he knew these pictures existed he would want copies. The intensity, the sheer pride he has on his face as he is cradling our country's flag in his arms is really awe inspiring.

Keep trying on these boards, there has to be SOMEBODY!!!

I am still neww here and don't know if it even possible.

Could you try re-posting your original plea on each of the message boards? Pu it up on the resorts board, the CB, the Family board etc.

Perhaps that ONE person you are searching for isn't reading the board this is posted on and dosen't pull up the "view new posts" thingy-wingy like I do.
