Looking for opinions on best off-site pool area

Just planning a few days in Orlando and looking for opinions as to which hotel has the best pool area. We probably won't spend much time, if any, at the parks and are trying to base our hotel choice on a nice pool area and perhaps breakfast included.

What do you think?

I've been to the World Center Marriott which I thought was a very nice pool area, however the reports from trip advisor haven't been too good lately. I am soooo partial to the BC pool!

How many children if any do you have traveling with you? How old? Are you willing to stay at a timeshare villa or only want a hotel? There are lots of great hotels and resorts with great pools. Give us some more info and we may be able to provide some good options.

True.. there are ALOT of great pools in Orlando. Do you want to be in a certain location? I would first start with the location. It is a vast land.....

As to location we do plan to go to Typhoon Lagoon one day....so maybe something close by to that area. We will have our 14 year old son with us this time as DD20 is away at college and her spring break is different. We are open to either resort or timeshare. Thanks for the replies!

Are you wanting to stay at a Disney Resort? Or off property?

Bonnet Creek has a lovely pool area. Two regular pools. One with a slide as well as an additional lazy river. This is a timeshare resort, though, so no maid service. Location is awesome though. www.wyndhambonnetcreek.com

Also Marriott's Grande Vista resort has beautiful pools. Marriott's Horizons Resort has a pirate ship pool....but geared more towards younger kids.

Orange Lake Resort...which is massive pretty much has an "onsite" water park area which is lovely. But depending on where you stay, you may have to drive quite a ways to the pool area.

Ginn Reunion Resort also has an onsite waterpark. But we've never stayed there. Looks like a beautiful resort though.

Have also heard the Hilton Grand Vacation Clubs have beautiful pools.

Also have heard that the Grand Cypress has a beautiful pool area. This is a true hotel resort but very pricey.

Thanks for the responses and recommendations. Will check your suggestions out and hope to make a decision soon. That darn Disney 4/3 deal is just so tempting though...........
