Hi. I haven't posted anything on the Transportation board before, so I hope this is an appropriate question.
Has anyone noticed the quality rapidly decreasing at Dollar car rental? My DH and I have rented a few times with them because their rates have beat all other rental companies on site at MCO, and we were usually very satisfied. During out last trip in December we noticed extremely long lines in the terminal and then more long lines outside waiting to get keys to the cars. Customer service at both places was less-than-average. And then we were shocked at the condition of the car when we finally saw it, (dirty, very worn, more basic than expected). Also, while waiting in line to get the keys, one poor dad and his son came back to the booth twice because of some sort of damage. On his last trip back to the booth he said the car was not drive-able.
Does anyone know if this is still the case with Dollar? We have reservations with them in March and I'm wondering if I should change them to another rental company.
