Looking for ocean front hotels/resorts between St Augustine Florida&Hilton Head SC

We would like to spend one night in a beach front hotel/resort on the Atlantic on our drive home. I wish to keep the rate under $150 US or lower. Hilton head would be great but everything in HIlton Head is $$$$.

Really depends on your dates with the prices.
St. Augustine has a couple, Jacksonville Beach, Amelia Island (pricey) .... Georgia beaches (and I live in GA) are not very desirable but you could check Jekyll Island.

We go to Amelia Island every summer and love it there. The beach is beautiful, great restaurants. There are a few places on the north end of the island that may be under $150. Check this one: http://www.seasideameliainn.com/index.html Seaside Amelia Inn. Amelia Island is about 30 minutes north of Jacksonville right off I95.

I agree w/ the previous poster about the Georgia beaches. (I live in GA too) They are not nice. St. Simons is a lovely island, but not a great beach, especially during high tide. Tybee Island is in the Savannah area, I have never been, but have heard it's nicer than Jekyll and St Simons.

The Ritz Amelia Island is a wonderful resort. Hammock Beach (north of Daytona) is a nice resort too, but finding a resort on the Atlantic under $150 most times of the year can be tough. Good luck!
