looking for name tags

hello, i'm new here. so hi to all. we just booked our Disney trip to Fla. in May, we can't wait. we will be traveling w/our close friends. i have a question, does anyone know anything about name tags? i heard that you can buy them at any of the Disney shops and wear them into the parks and it's really neat because the characters see them and call you by name. my question is, can i buy them in advance somewhere? thank you.

You can go to the giftsofalifetime website and order them there. If I remember correctly, you can have the name tags delivered to the fromt desk at the hotel so when you check in they'll be there.

You may also want to check laughingplacestore they have more designs and seem to be a little cheaper.

great idea's thanks so much. i checked out the laughingplacestore and they were slightly cheaper. does anyone know how reliable it is to buy them and have them sent to our Hotel for pick-up there?

You can buy them in the back of the Christmas store at Downtown Disney. They were $5 about 2 yrs ago.

I'd order them sent to my home - if there is time before the trip. I'd just be more comfortable with it. It's not like they would steal them or anything! It's just that they get very busy at the desks and I'd feel terrible if it was my package and they were lost. I know that we reserved our Cirque tickets ahead of time and were told they would be at the front desk - well, it took 4 people and about 40 minutes to find them. We did the round of "They only have those at the box office", "No, they told me they'd be at the front desk" etc. So, that only would leave me to worry more about a non-Disney purchase being found. (honest - not bashing here - just acknowledging how busy they get!)

Name badges won't take up much room in the suitcase - heck stick them in a shoe (maybe in a plastic bag first...tee hee)
