The picture that you saw may well have come from Keyhole Corp. . If your computer system uses an NVIDIA graphics chip based Video card you can evaluate the 'overhead' image database that Keyhole has for 30 days - or sign up for $79.95 a year.

Not a bad price considering that it offers High-definition satellite and aerial imagery of a quite a bit of the globe. If I were the Minister of Defense for a Third World Nation I would definitely sign up for the $499.95 'Professional' package that offers mapping and altitude data as well...

Tiger--I e-mailed the site that posted the Epcot aerial picture. He got it from the link from mapquest to globxplorer. I think he pasted a few maps together.

ALso, hiddenmickeys.org has a lot of sat. photos if you follow the links to hidden mickeys at the given parks.

THe global explorer things is pretty nifty, but it is prettys potty outside the US and the fee to subscribe when the 30 days runs out seems to much to me! You can find the basic sat. photos on the net, just not with the nifty fying interface the global explorer program has - it doesn't seem worth it to me, ymmv-
