Cooking Looking for Jungle juice recipe from Tusker House

Hi,

I asked them and I think they said equal parts OJ, passion fruit and Guava, but when I tried a search I found this

1 part pineapple juice

1 part mango juice

2 parts orange juice

2 parts lemonade.


Does anyone know what the correct one was......This juice was so incredibly good!!

From what I've seen, that recipe is from Boma. While Tusker House gets many of its recipe from Boma, they also tweak them. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1575103&page=97

Loriandalex, I was told it was guava, passion and orange juice, too. I have never seen passion fruit or guave in a container, so I wonder if I have to buy the guava and passion fruit AS fruits. I am not a big fruit person at all, but this was great stuff.

I've found the guava and passion fruit juices in Whole Foods, Fresh Market, and Earth Fare (these are health/organic chain food stores in my area). You may wish to try there

Yeah - even out here in the boonies we can get the Goya brand. Ours keeps it in the ethnic foods section.

I'm not a fan of mango (both kids love it ) but really like passionfruit & guava. I think it comes from growing up drinking Hawaiian Punch. I used to love that stuff.
