Looking for Input

Alright, I am fishing for input here. I am in middle middle of an internal debate as to whether or not I like this car. Help?

Miles - a lot. A LOT, but the guys that owns it .. I can tell just by talking to him know what he is doing. I know mechanically anything that needed to be fixed, was fixed.

Exteior - GORGEOUS.

Tires - Toyos that were ~$200 3,000 miles ago

Interior - Worn .. but not bad considering age and mileage. Seats can be covered/repaired .. not too worried there, what would worry me is a cracked dash or shotty stereo installation .. and that all seems done right and in good condition

Price - It books at $3,400. He is asking more than that, with wheels and tires he has an argument for that, but ... not much over that.

um .. OH! Do you think a gay man would look stupid driving this? And will it make a trip to Florida?

Yep, my opinion is the same. Not worth the asking price and not too sure about the "trip to Florida" potential.

Keep searching. There are zillions out there. It really is a buyer market right now.

I would not allow any of my fellow gay male friends to buy a Chevy.
That said, if you're looking for a sporty coupe from the 90's such as this there should be plenty available in the same price range from Nissan, Honda or Toyota. Good luck!

I vacuumed and wipes all the surfaces down. It took a while, but it cleaned up well. I have not had time to wash and wax, and it rained today.

Now the fun begins .. fixing it up and giving it back some of it's former polish.

I had one of those about 12 or so years ago... And I drove it until the wheels fell off. Twice. Which was about 130K miles. So all I have to say is, GOOD LUCK! it's a super fun car to drive!
