Hello, I've searched the internet high and low for a specific music box and wound up here...
The short version of the story is that, as a young girl, my wife saved up her money to buy something special while at Disneyland. She settled on a music box that had Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto as babies. It would have been purchased during the 1980's.
From what I've gathered it was a limited edition of some sort, porcelain, and they were sitting on a pillow or rounded mound. The music box was later broken by an angry sister and my wife still talks about it from time to time. We have our first child on the way and I thought it would be an amazing gift for her, to be passed down at some point.
I've found a few manufacturers (Schmid, Goebel, Enesco) but haven't been able to locate the specific music box. Most are a holiday theme and this one was not.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has insight on how I might go about locating this specific music box. I imagine there's a directory or guide out there somewhere but I haven't come across it yet... Thanks for reading!
