Looking for ideas - DD running for...

student council/ASB. She is allowed to make one poster. Our biggest obstacle is coming up with a slogan. She is in running for 6th grade Treasurer. Here are some of our ideas:

How about if you get the small, fun size $100,000,000 bars and then attach the "money" slogan you choose to use on the posters to the candy bar? Kids like candy bars more then t-shirts I think! OR you could say something like Vote for Lilly- she's one in a million! Oh- and make the poster look like they candy bar wrapper Just add her name and the slogan.

We just had elections. We had tshirts, candy, the whole nine yards. One of my friends won treasurer. She had teeshirts. What you do is get plain white tshirts and make an iron on for them. Really alot cheaper than it sounds. Pass out candy too. Does she get to do a speech? also make stickers on your pc. I did that when I ran a few years ago. You can give out pencils with the sticker on them too.
Don't be silly vote for lily is what I would use. It short, sweet and to the point. I would be glad to help you more if you want to do any of the things I have mentioned. g'luck to lily!

Well.. I have been in student council for 2 years. I ran for one and failed, but I did get elected by the teachers so got in.

Our school doesnt let candy, shirts, buttons, stickers or anything. All you can do is posters and a speech. Which I personally like.

Our idea is to have the poster in the style of dollar bill. Lily's picture will be in the center, the slogan will be on the bottom, the corners will state Vote 4 Lily and reasons for voting for her will be on the sides of the picture.

We will pass out stickers with the same poster theme and pencils with dollar bills I ordered from Oriental Trading.

I will make her a tshirt. There are more than 500 students in the 6th grade and about 1500 in the school. Call me mean or stingy, but I refuse to spend hundreds of dollars like some of the other candidate's parents. The election is next week so I will let you know if the big spenders are the winners.

The election results were finally revealed today and she won. The experience was a great one as she made many new friends when she passed out her pencils, magnetic bookmarks, mini notepads and stickers.

The school decided to hold the elections a day early and the girl with the custom tshirts didn't pass them out in time.
