I have a freind that works for Marriot and can get me a screamin' deal at the Marriot Anaheim. I looked at the hotel info sticky and can't find much info on there. I have looked at Tripadvisor, and Expedia for reviews, but I really want a more Disney centered review of the property. The trip won't be till next November for our one year aniversery/ honeymoon trip that we can't afford to take right now. If anyone has stayed here, and can fill me in on rooms, upgrades, etc... I would love it!
Thanks all! I lurk here almost everyday, and this is one of my first posts, so thanks for the help!

YEs it is. I realize there are a few "Marriot" properties around DL, but this one is the "Anaheim Marriot" on Convention way.

Thanks!!!!!

We have stayed here twice. Its a pretty nice hotel, they are a few steps up from the courtyards and fairfeilds (its a cat. 5) so overall its more of a "luxury" hotel. The rooms are nice and large, the beds are super comfy. They have a few restaurants ... a nice steak house, a cafe, a pizza hut and a starbucks I think. Both times we stayed here we walked to the parks, its a long walk but do-able it really depends on personal preferences I think.

We stayed there about 10-12yrs ago. (my oldest won a contest at school and the prize was 2 free nights at the Marriot :thumbsup2) It was very nice, out of our usual price range, but what the hey. Has a nice pool that the kids used while the wife and I had a cold one at the bar. Of course, back then they had their own shuttle.

My daughter had a dance convention there this summer. We didn't stay there (we stayed at GCC) but spent a lot of time there and most of her friends stayed there. It was nice, but a lot of people complained that their rooms were very small. It has a Pizza Hut and a nice little snack/sandwich shop in it. We would drive over from GCC and pick friends up to come to Disneyland and than take them back after, to spare them the walk. The people with small kids who made the walk said it felt VERY long. I don't think it's a walk I'd want to make with kids after a full day. But other than that the hotel itself seemed nice.

Thanks for the replys so far! Has anyone stayed there in a suite of any kind? I am really looking forward to starting to plan this trip!
