When those drawing were posted I thought it was funny that the names of the dogs were underneath the drawing.

I knew the names just by looking at the dog.

Your work is excellent. Here is an idea......a vet we used to use had art work from a local artist hanging in his office. She would do pictures of people's animals from a photo (for a fee of course). This might be a good way to get started without quitting your day job so to speak until you see if it takes off. You'll certainly have the right traffic.

I would read the poster that is a framer (sorry forgot your name), and truly read her words.

Remember you can't take it personally, and do what you love.

As for my dogs, I would probably have one done with either both or one... the Lab is 13 years old, and getting on in years.

As someone who does crafts I can understand the thinking that you might not be good enough. You are too close to it and with someone who was close to you and said you weren't good enough would really do a number on you. I looked at your pictures (now I am not an artist, though would love to be) and I don't own any animals but I was blown away. You could see right down to the animals souls in their eyes. How did you do that? They are unbelievable.
