I would like to take my parents/brother's family on a 4 night cruise in the fall of 2009, part with points, part with cash.

The DVC points chart on DVCmember shows only one cruise in September (27) and four in October (4, 11, 18, and 25). The DCL site shows 2 cruises in September (6 and 20) and only two in October (18 and 25). Yep, I wanted something between 9/20 and 10/11.

Any idea which is right (or some explanation of why some cruises would be available only one site and not the other)?

I thought there might be some issue of dry docking during the fall, but I'm trying to figure out which site is correct (so I can figure out dates and dollars) but so far the dates I would want only show up on one or the other site.

Thanks for anyone who can shed some light . . .

Could it be a members only cruise? Just a thought. it could also be a dry dock, however they usually last a few weeks.

Could also be a east coast to west coast which I think last for a few extra days. They go from port canaveral thru the panama canal and up to LA. Then return to port canaveral. Not sure how long thoses cruises last though. I would go by what's on their website. or call DCL direct.

I would go with what the DCL site says. It looks like a dry dock. Each ship goes into dry dock every couple of years for routine maintenance and upgrades/changes. Fall is when they do it.

The Wonder will be in dry dock in Fall of 2009.

A reschedule of this was recently announced, so I would go by what the DCL site says.

The Wonder will now be in dry dock from 9/27/2009 until 10/17/2009.

If you have to stick to your dates (between 9/20 and 10/11), the only option for a 4 night cruise would be 9/20/2009. Or, the last cruise before dry dock is a 3-night, leaving on 9/24/2009.

Personally, I would try to push it into October and go on the 10/18 cruise. The ship will be all **** and span! :goodvibes

Thanks. Sounds like the later trip would be better and at least the DVC site has the point totals for that trip.

And it does sound nice to sail on a "just updated" ship.
