Looking for first photos of Lotso

Hi Everyone, I know that Lotso from Toy Story 3 is getting ready to make his grand entrance so just wanted to start a thread that everyone could post their photos of him for the rest of us. Can't wait to see him and hope he is still doing meet and greets in Dec. Also thought we could use this thread to post any other Toy Story 3 information and photos.

And, again, re-join Facebook if you haven't already. That is a fantastic source of Disney info all coming to one place - your News Feed. I saw two different Lotso items today on my Facebook page, courtesy of MouseInfo and Disneyland Scoop, I think it was (I may be wrong on that last one, but there were two items from two different places, all on my News Feed). All the info comes to you so you don't have to seek it out.

Check out this thread (link below - it's only 2 or 3 pages, so not much to sort through) - I posted a big list of all the things I joined on FB that are DLR-related or just Disney-related in general. And Zeitzeuge has a couple listed that I haven't joined yet. There are all sorts of pages and groups to join on FB, but I have not conquered them all yet. Disneygeek is a page on Facebook!!! I think Disneygeek may have a dedicated website, but they are on Facebook, along with MouseInfo and Disneyland Scoop that I talked about earlier. You've got to get yourself back on Facebook, woman! Then you will have all of the Disney info coming right to you!! You can become a fan of, or, rather, "like" all of these different pages and all of the scoops will come right to you.

Oh, and I forgot to add - one thing that was commented on (on MouseInfo, I think) was that the live and in person character Lotso doesn't look (proportionately) the same as he does in his movie/stuffed toy form. In person, he has more of a Baloo-type body, with a smaller head and longer body with a wide belly/hips. In the photos for the TS3 movie, Lotso appears to have a much shorter body and a bigger head (proportionate to his body). Just an odd little observation!!

I looked at the picture of the DLR character Lotso and compared it to the TS3 movie character Lotso, and he does look proportionately different, whereas Buzz & Woody and other TS characters who can be found in DLR look more or less the same as they do in the movies - just bigger, overall.

I am a fan of photopass, so I know that one, but not sure about all the other info, I have some Disney pages hooked up to me on FB but I don't seem to get all this information like you are talking about so maybe you can help me. I am on the fence about the Talking Mickey. I can see where it could cause confusion in little ones, i.e., "Why is this Mickey talking but the other Mickey we met didn't talk?" or "Why is Mickey talking but Pooh and Tigger won't talk to me?" But I think it's great that they are doing a test run with this one to see what kind of reaction they get, because he may be a big hit!!

Jen, if you want to, PM me either your e-mail address or your info so I can look you up on Facebook and send you a friend request. That way, you can go into all of my Pages and Groups and add any and all of the Disney-related pages that are on that list that I posted the link for above. There are lots of them, mind you, so you have to actually take the time to go through each one and "Like" all of them to add them to your News Feed, but there's lots of good info to be had, so it's worth it in the end. After a while, you forget which pages you belong to (if you have as many on there as I do), but since all the info comes to you, it's very handy!

I have lots of other DIS-ers on my Friend list as well, and I am about to add another couple of DIS-ers who sent me PM's today, so I may as well add everyone at the same time!!

Tell me about it! I resisted Facebook at first, while all my friends were trying to pull me over there to share pictures from our old outings and Poison/Sunset Strip days. Now I belong to I don't know how many pages - and not all of them are Disney-related - and have an interesting mix of friends on the friend list - some old friends, some new friends, some work-related friends, people from different walks of life - and I get all this info from the friends and from all these pages coming to me daily. So between all the "News" on the News Feed and the picture sharing and the addiction to Family Feud that I developed on Facebook, and then coming back over here to see what's happening, it's a miracle I ever step away from the computer, let alone get any work done!!!!
