We reserved a pontoon boat for the wishes cruise in March. I was wondering if anyone had any photos or TIPS for this cruise. Tell me about it! thx

We did this in November 2008. It was great! It was our anniversary, so my husband ordered a cake, hot tea from the GF. The captain was super. Told us lot about WDW, took us gator hunting! (DS 6yrs old loved it!), saw the electric light parade.

It was chilly. We had jackets, but the boat also had blankets.

Not sure how to post pictures...I think I can post a link to his facebook photos??? Not sure will have to ask when he gets home... I am so not the computer person in the house :rotfl:

I hope you have an awesome time!

Alright, trying this without DH...we'll see :)

Ok, so they are small :confused3 But, hopefully helpful :goodvibes

I think the order was
drinks
mini castle cake
key lime & cheesecake bites
gator hunting
electric light parade

I remembered more about the boat looking at the pictures. There were balloons & a congratulations banner. Leather seats, very plush. I hear pontoon boat & think about the boat the family rents in the summer at the lake, nothing great. But, this was luxury pontoon boating :wizard:

Have a great time!

My friend Sophia (Ohiodisneylover) invited us to join her on her wishes cruise last year, and it was AMAZING! She had the boat decorated, and got the snacks option, and also had a cake delivered. It was truly a magical moment! Check out my TR or her TR for a full report on it! Def worth every penny!

And was it truly a magical moment? They say that they pipe audio in to the boat.. does anyone know what that is all about?

YES, although i didn't pay for it, I would again and again! It was pure magic. By pipe in audio, they mean the songs and all of the wording you hear during wishes you will hear during the boat ride while you watch wishes!

I shared one with a dis friend last year. It was spectacular! A belated anniversary present. We'd always planned on taking our daughter for the first time on our 10th anniversary, she would have been 5, perfect.... Well, life sent us a surprise, and on our 10th I was on bed rest with preeclampsia, two weeks from delivering the 2nd child I couldn't conceive. So, no 10th anniv. trip for us. 2 1/2 years later.... :lmao:

Check out my TR linked below for pics.

I booked it for $350. You get a boat and a driver ... and I think the boat hold eight.

There goes my disney memory :rotfl2: I keep telling myself it was cheaper. LOL! I booked a Wishes cruise two years ago as a surprise for my dd 9th bday. At that time I was a single mom with 3 kids so this was a special thing for our family really.

I nonchalantly mentioned to the kids that I wanted to look at the Contemporary resort. Since we were there, why not check out the marina? Hmm, check out that pontoon....Wait, what does the banner say? Why all the balloons? Look at that beautiful cake?! (I had also ordered a custom cake from the Contemporary Bakery and had it waiting aboard.) At this point, my teenage sons are mortified thinking that I have certainly lost my mind, peering onto boats :goodvibes

When it finally dawned it the kids it was our boat for the night, words can not describe their reaction. I will say the dd may have spent more time gazing at our captain, Phillipe, than she did Wishes but that night was magical. The vantage point of the fireworks is unlike any you will fine in the parks. There is also a peace you find watching the electric light parade while sitting in your pontoon. For our family of 4, worth every penny but not something that I would attempt to recapture again. Sorry, no pictures. We only had disposable cameras that trip and I have not scanned those.
