I am returning to Disneyland next Wednesday and I plan on doing some shopping on my next trip. Does anyone know if and where I can buy a plush animal type of backpack? If I can find one when i'm there, that would be fanstastic! Also, I am planning on starting my pin trading collection; I was about too, but i've misplaced the set I got for free from WDW back in 2005 (promotional deal). I wasn't sure what it was just yet, so I casted it aside and now its lost some where in storage. So, i'm starting from scratch and I plan on buying a new starter set as soon as I walk through the gates. I was at Disneyland last month and I noticed the small world toy shop seemed to have plenty to choose from. But I was wondering if that was a good place in the park to go? Does anyone else know of any other good shops to buy from in Disneyland?

Thanks a ton by the way! If no one has any idea about the backpack idea, let me know what else migt be a good keepsake. I love plush items btw. :-)

At DL, the main pin shops are the one in Frontierland (next to the shooting gallery) and the Little Green Men Command Store in Tomorrowland (exit to Buzz). They'll have the widest selection of starter pin sets. Over in DCA, the largest selection is at the pin shop on Buena Vista Street (right side as you enter). In DTD, there is also a dedicated pin shop across from the Lego Store.

If you still have time, you might also check to see what starter sets are being cleared out at the DisneyStore.com. I didn't see any right now, but something might show up.

In terms of the backpacks, I know they had some "plush" style Star Wars backpacks a few months ago. I think i saw Yoda and Chewie (not as sure about the Wookie). I feel like I've seen plush backpacks in the past, but I can't remember if I've seen any recently. I do know they've gone into pillow pets in a big way...lots of characters to choose from.
