Looking for Disney Advice/Tips!

Hi all! We just made "spur of the moment" flights and reservations and will be in DL April 17 - 21. I've been doing some research and we definitely want to eat at the Blue Bayou.

Do you recommend lunch or dinner? What are ADR's? (reservations?) How do I make reservations?

Also wondering about the princess craft time. DD is 8; DS is 5.

We're flying in from snowy Alberta, Canada and are so excited. Any other tips/ insights to make this an amazing trip would be greatly appreciated.

I honestly can't recommend one or the other as far as lunch or dinner - I think it depends on what you want to eat, because I think the menus are slightly different.

Call (714) 781-DINE to make reservations. You should have plenty of options available still.

The crafts are at the Princess Fantasy Faire, which is open from 10-6. Also, bring a baggie with crayons and you can pick up an extra coloring sheet to take with you. It's nice for the hotel or for long lines.

Oh how fun! Yes Blue Bayou is one of my favorites and I love going there in the evening for dinner vs lunch but you'll find very split opinions about that, some prefer lunch some prefer dinner. When you check-in request a water side table, you'll have to wait a little longer but I think it's worth it. I also find the dinner choices yummier and in the evening it seems a little more...romantic I guess. If you go to the disneyland website you'll find a reservations number where you can call to book your dinner reservations, I'm sure somebody will post a number though if you want to wait. As for the princess craft time I'll let someone else help you with that as I've never been.
