We are doing a family reunion in DL on Oct 20-22 Thurs,Fri,Sat in the parks. We have 7 kiddos going and it takes 10 to be considered a youth group and get discount tickets. Is anyone else going these same dates and want to "join our group" so we can all benefit from the group rate?
I spoke to customer service at DL yesterday and he said that our party doesn't have to all enter the parks at the same time, just that the first day has to be the same for all members of the group. This means you and your family can come and go in the parks as you please and we don't all have to meet up at the main gate and go in together in order to use the group tickets. No matching t-shirts, no pop quiz on our group's moto...you get the idea.
It's a huge savings (like 80.00 per child ticket for the 3 day park hopper pass) so we're really hoping to find another family or two to join our group. The tickets are purchased via mail order and must be submitted 10 days before use so I'm hoping we can find more members for our group by at least Oct 5th to ensure plenty of time to get the tickets in the mail before we go.
I'm totally flexible on how you might want to work the finances on this. I know it's a bit of a trust situation on both ends. If we order the tickets and then you flake out on us we're in a bind financially and if you pay us before we order the tickets I can see how that would make most people nervous. So, I'm just throwing the idea out there and hopefully we can come up with an arrangement that works for everyone.
FYI - the definition of a kid per this program is 3-22 years old. We are looking for at least 3 more that fit this category.
