Looking for close resort to Wide World of Sports

Just found out we're going to Orlando for a sporting event June 11-16. Trying to find a reasonably-priced resort/condo close to ESPN Wide World of Sports. I'm overwhelmed with choices doing a websearch because I don't know the area. Thinking about arriving June 9 and leaving the 18th. Any suggestions?

We went to ESPN five days of our trip to watch our son play with his high school baseball team during spring break. We stayed at a 3 bedrom WBC condo which was very close to ESPN -inside Disney bubble.

A three bedroom condo cost us less per night than POR and was so much nicer. WBC is a no brainer you will love it!!

There are many ways to rent a condo at WBC. I was able to get our week from a travel agent with a 100% rating on ebay. Although i was nervous about the transaction -having never rented on ebay but heard good reports on DIS- everything was seamless

WBC is a great choice, but availability may be limited. A second option would be Windsor Hills which may have greater availability. WH also has vacation homes to rent where you can put 2-3 families in. Splitting the price up gives a lot of great opportunity. A quick glance at homes in WH shows a 6BR, 4 bath home for $940 for 06/11 - 06/16. Sleeps 14 people. Its a 5 mile drive, so not too bad. Dropping to a 3BR/2BA condo, it is $650ish.

We were just in WDW for DD's softball spring training at the ESPN fields. We stayed at Vacation Village at Parkway on 192. It is a timeshare property. We traded our timeshare for it through RCI. It was a much cheaper trade for us than Wyndham Bonnet Creek. The place is huge, so availability shouldn't be a problem. It is super close to the ESPN fields - like 5 minutes close. We could see the fields from our building! We've stayed there twice now, and after 2 positive experiences, we would stay there again.

the two closest-are WDW hotels - Pop Century and AoA. offsite - BC and SL - then VV, then Disney Springs hotel. then probably US 192 West/a little on the East, or hotels on 535
