You might want to try Vistaprint. They usually have good deals on personalized stationery.

Have you considered making them yourself? It is not difficult to design and print wonderful stationary. You can choose images or designs on Google that you know your friend will like. Buy some good quality cardstock at Staples and you're all set. I've printed everything from greeting cards to formal affair invitations and gotten rave reviews about the results. People couldn't believe I had made them myself.

I use American Stationary. I don't know how "reasonable" they are - I find them very reasonable as "good" stationary - e.g. raised printing (but not engraved, engraved is too pricey and frankly, hard to find nowadays - sadly buying your own engraving dies are probably a thing of the past).

Vista Print online. They are awesome! My husband gets his business cards from there and we also did my son's graduation banner and party invitations, including his picture and personalized message. 20 inv. with env. and a huge banner, all with his picture and personalized for $40. And make sure to look up coupon codes...there's always some good ones if you google it.
