I am reserving a 2-bedroom villa for my son and 4 of his friends. They are all between the ages of 21 to 24. Based upon the points I have available, I have narrowed down the resorts to AKV standard view (either Jambo or Kidani), OKW or Saratoga Springs standard view.

I think Kidani would be a good choice because of how large the villas are and having 3 bathrooms and I think Saratoga Springs would be a good choice because of how close it is to Disney Springs.

Any thoughts on which of these 2 would be better or if there are reasons why Jambo house or OKW would be better choices? I have stayed in Kidani and Saratoga Springs before but have never stayed at Jambo or OKW. (My son is happy that we are letting him use the points next year and doesn’t seem to care which resort I reserve)

My dd and her friend went to Disney in May they are 23 and 24. My dd asked me to book SSR since they wanted to golf and also wanted to spend evenings in DTD without the hassle of bus at night. Getting to the parks were fine.

Id find out where thry want to spwnd their evenings and work from there.

I agree with Saratoga. Although my daughters love the Boardwalk when I plan their college trip it will likely be at SSR for the proximity to DTD.

Yeah....Saratoga. they won't care about an extra bathroom (unless it's mostly girls in the group).

But being near DS is good and also close to Epcot.

The good thing about OKW is the studio part has two real beds instead of one bed and one pullout. And the living room has a pullout sofa and pullout chair. And has real kitchen table and chairs for them to sit at with laptops or play drinking games or whatever 20somethings do.

How do the boys feel about sharing a bed? Kidani & OKW would allow each person to have his own sleeping space - king, sleep sofa & sleep chair & two queens in the 2nd bedroom (if you book a dedicated). Kidani has 3 full baths and OKW 2.

SSR will require two of them to share a bed. If sharing a bed is OK, I'd pick SSR

I would NOT choose SSR if they prefer not to share beds. For the "no-share" scenario, I'd go with Kidani for the extra bath.

Thanks to everyone who replied to my question. I appreciate all the input and will talk to him to see which factors are most important to him and his friends. I have a feeling they will end choosing Saratoga but it is always good to have a couple choices.

Saratoga is the perfect choice. Their grand villa is two stories, has a beautiful large window (usually overlooking Disney Springs, plus the close proximity to DS is great for that age group) with ample bedroom, living room, and kitchen space for a party your size.

My 25 yo son and a couple of his friends went to Disney and I got them Saratoga because of the proximity to Disney Springs. They loved it. I got them preferred and requested Congress Park which they got.

What a treat it would be to get them a grand villa as the pp wrote.(yeah, no!) My son and his 2 friends shared a 1 bd. My son got the couch so he wouldn't have to share the bed.

Just booked for ds and his buddies (21-23). DS requested OKW. He liked the room sizes and bedding options because it gives them more room to spread out, and the proximity to Disney Springs.

While SS is great, walk to Springs, some might prefer the space and theming of OKW. My kids preferred it because it "felt like Florida". We are from Northeast, so SS theming is a snore to them. But I would think walking back to their room would be great, with SS.
