Looking for advice on Rose and Crown

If you had to choose-
R&C at 7:25 pm
R&C at 8:55pm
--- fireworks at 9pm--
we are a party of 4, and generally R&C has a small standing area they lead inside dinners to during fireworks (we are not doing viewing package)
Would R&C leave us standing out in walkaway at 8:55pm? during the show? I would hate that, and the timing is really close.
OR am I better off showing up at 7:25 and spending an hour and 1/2 taking up their table? seems kinda long, however we enjoy dinning also.

You are probably not the only person to have the idea of leisurely dining in order to wait for fireworks. That being said, it's the luck of the draw. It all depends on what others do.

I'd recommend the 7:25. Not sure what comprises your party of four, but assuming it's all 12+ years old, that's a decent amt of time to have app, entree, and dessert just in time for fireworks. Good luck!

Thank you, I appreciated you both weighting in on this. We do quite a few sit down dining during our trips. But I was struggling with show up, basically at closing time. I did end up keeping the 7:25 and let the 8:55 one go.
The timing worked well, could not have been better, for us- 4 adults.
We had a wonderful trip. Just ready to go back!

And you may have a short wait to get seated for the 7:25 ADR anyway, so it could well be only an hour and 1/4.

May I ask if anyone tried the Chicken Masala Curry? I usually get the Fish n Chips, but for our trip in a few weeks I've been eyeing the Chicken and looking for reviews.

We did enjoy our meal, but none of us ordered that. Sorry I can't offer an opinion on the masala. The fish and chips was good.
