Looking for a veteran

Hello everyone! My name is Carrielee && I'm a 16 year old junior in High School. I'm enrolled in a World War II class this semester && im looking for a veteran of WW II (or any other war but preferably WWII, Korea, or Vietnam). I will need to mantain contact with my person throughout the nine weeks and they must be willing to give me possibly personal information.

Not sure if you found someone yet but my grandfather is a WW2 Vet and I am sure would help you out.

I suggest contacting a VA hospital, the nursing home and rehab units would have plenty of old men that wouldn't mind corresponding with you! Also any VFW or American Legion would probably be able to help you out. Good luck, it sounds interesting!!!

If there's one in your area it would be so much better to do everything in person.

You will truly get a feel for what they are telling you and they will have a young person to chat with!

It would only be maybe once a week but for 2 months you will be a bright spot that they have to look forward to!
