Looking for a Romantic Hotel

My husband and I are looking to have our honeymoon in the first week or so of June at Disneyland and are looking to book a romantic hotel. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a nice hotel that it good for honeymooners? We are also looking to book it at a reasonable price... we thought Disneyland Hotel or the Grand Californian, but were told by the concierge they are more of a family hotel with less of the type of room we are looking for available so now we would like some other suggestions. The concierge at Grand Californian or Disneyland Hotel encouraged you to stay elsewhere? Out of the hotels in the area, I can't think of any that would be more "romantic". Nowhere else really has theming of any kind. Now, they obviously are the two most expensive hotels in the area, so that might not meet your criteria, but if I wanted a romantic place to stay I would pick one of those two immediately. I'm really curious as to why that concierge would say otherwise.

I'm also surprised that they didn't at least have a reccomendation for someplace else.

I'm guessing if those are reasonable priced you should stick with them.

If you find them high prices, you might enjoy the nice decor of the Ayres Hotel. It's a few miles away, but you can take ART to the parks. It consistently holds the numer one rank for area hotels on TA, and distance is the only drawback.

Another thought is to find a beach vacation rental...Sometimes you can get them for the same as a hotel and you'd be right by the beach
