Looking for a pet friendly resort, in the maingate west area..

Hi all....I'm looking for a room that will allow my dd's cat to stay with her/us while she relocates. We don't want to pay an arm and a leg but being able to keep the cat with us is a huge deal. Anyone know of a resort along 192 that will allow that? Thanks.

I don't know of a resort in that area but we are FL residents who have had to evacuate on short notice with hurricanes. We have always had good luck with La Quinta hotels allowing our pets (a dog and a cat). I would suggest looking to see if there is a La Quinta in the area that allows pets...You will be required to pay a pet fee. It may be more cost effective to board the cat at a near by boarder until dd has been relocated.

I know that most Marriott Residence Inns are pet friendly.

but think they allow pets, are reasonable and maingate... check these:

- Red Lion Orlando Maingate (DD has stayed there and it was fine)
- Maingate Lakeside
- Seralago Hotel and Suites
- Champions World Resort
- Westgate Towers or Vacation Villas
- Ramada Kissimmee

Thanks! I've stayed at the Red Lion before, and yes, it was fine. They should get rid of that silver stuff but other than that, it's fine there. That's where she'll probably end up.
