and I dont need a check book in it.

Does anyone have a wallet that they love? not too fat but with room for lots of cards?

I have found several at TJMaxx that I like a lot, and I carry a lot of different cards!

I carry a coin purse for all my cards. There a so many discount and gift cards that I want to carry. If I need a piece of leather between each I would have a wallet 4 inches thick.

I actually onw three coin purses. I keep two in my everyday bag: one for the multitude of cards (pink so easy to find in my cavernous bag) and another (blue) for real money and coins. I have a third that I "pack" with license, single credit card and a few bills for night out to slip in my cute little clutch bag.

Here is a sample coin purse.

well, it just seems like I have so many cards. I know that sounds bad but I have a punch card for two different restaurants, member cards for two different grocery stores, a few gift cards, my visa, a library card, insurance card, a few business cards, my AAA card, a room key from Disney just because it makes me happy when I'm looking for one of my other cards and I see it, etc......

Just need a place for my cards.

It's not a traditional wallet, but I like my card holder/wallet from sideswipewallet.com. Bought it at a fair and it's been great.

And then I was getting so many of those keychain cards that I bought a tiny card holder for those (they were in a container at the counter at Bed Bath and Beyond) so it's like a tiny wallet on my keychain as well. :)

Not really *budget*, but the zip around wallets from Coach have 12 card slots and several other dividers to keep money, stamps, etc. I can carry all of my crap and my wallet is still skinny. Also, they do not come with a check book.

Rolf wallets have a lot of slots.

Most dept stores carry the brand.

I prefer a tri-fold wallet. 3 slots on the right, 3 slots on the left, with a pocket behind each.

Left side is medical insurance and stuff, and my Sea World Pass. The middle behind my license is AAA card, car insurance, and that sort of stuff. The right side is my money side, bank cards, gift cards, and that sort of thing.

I love the Vera Bradley zip around wallet, lots of room and everything stays organized. It also has a pull out strap, so you can carry it as a wristlet. i love it so much I have it in 3 patterns.

I have an app on my Android (& Blackberry too when I had one) that allows me to "scan" my discount, AAA, movie cards etc. so I don't have to carry them around anymore. At CVS the cashiers eyes got so big when I presented my phone the other day to show her my CVS card. It's convenient & cool!
:cool2:

After a while, no matter how many slots I have, I run out. Lol. And have always reverted back to a coin purse. This is like the one I am currently using (got it on sale/clearance from VB):

I would suggest that you use at least 2 coin purses (in different colors/patterns) - one for your cc and cards you use often (store cards) and one for restaurant/AAA/insurance/businesscards/etc. - that way both are always in your purse but neither one gets too bulky.

I have a Vera Bradley wallet for my money, credit/ATM cards, library card, etc. I put all of the store cards in a small zip card holder that's attached to my keys. I mostly carry around the key-ring cards in that holder since they are smaller. Otherwise, I'd be carrying around a minimum of 30 cards.

I don't have a suggestion, but you reminded me of my mother's credit card holder waaaaaay back in the day when they just sent credit cards to you unsolicited - probably 1968-69ish - and she had quite a few and was quite proud of them. It was bright orange, opened like a book, and had probably 10 slots on each side and in big white letters on the front it said "I AM RICH". :rotfl:

Thanks for bringing to mind a funny memory!

I love love love love love my wallet from Ju Ju Be (it's a diaper bag company).

Lots of fun patterns or solid colors too.

Wow.. I love that wallet!!!!!!
I had one that I loathed. It was falling apart and not big enough. I was at the mall one night, dog tired and fighting with the stupid thing. I found a wallet with all the stuff I needed but unfortunately it was bright red and covered in aqua fish:rotfl:
The worst part is I let my dd talk me into the ridiculous bright red fish covered wallet. Now I have room for everything but I'm ashamed to take it out of my purse. DD thinks it's hilarious:rolleyes1

Moral of the story.. when you find a decent wallet do not let your sarcastic 13 yr old pick it out for you:rotfl:

I have one from target(5 dollars) that works really well for me.It is long with card slots all the way on the one side with a strap that snaps over the middle of the cards to keep them in safe. The other side has the license window and the middle is zippered for change and money and there is a pocket too.I would always throw my card back in my purse because I didn't want to take out the wallet open it and put it away right and I would lose stuff all the time. Now I can slide it back in while the wallet is in the bag and snap.It is really handy when I am carrying my son in one hand.

Wow this is awesome! I just bought a similar one from Thirty One for the same price. I actually like this one better from looks, but the one have is nice too.

I LOVE mine! It's small enough (and thin) that I can fit it in my back pocket without looking like I have a bulky hiney. It has four slots for CCs on one side, and a pocket for my driver's license on the other side. Inbetween is a change pocket (that can fit folded bills).

To keep the bulkiness down, I have an app on my iPhone called CardStar, where you can input all of your rewards & membership card's numbers (i.e., groceries, library, BRU, etc.) and when you pull up that card, the cashier can scan in the barcode from your iPhone.
