I was served a very yummy casserole a few years ago. It had gr. beef, noodles and creamed corn along with other ingredients. Might someone have something similar? It doesn't necessarily have to have the same ingredients. My family happens to love creamed corn and I am looking for new recipes. Thanks!

Try using www.familyoven.com to search for a recipe. It's a really cool web site -- you just list the ingredients you want to use and it searches for recipes that use them! (BTW, I did a quick scan of "noodles, cream corn" and didn't find any recipes that call for both. :sad2: But you can play around with it a bit and maybe have better luck?)

You are a living doll!! I put in hamburger and cream corn. I found several and thought that perhaps someone might be interested:

Serve with a green salad& some crusty bread!
A nice change is to add some chopped up yellow or white onion, or use green onions!

Here is one that is close. What if I added a cream based soup and hamburger?

JiminyC_fan, you're having WAY too much fun with that web site, LOL! But it is kinda handy, isn't it?

Personally, I think I'd do kind of a combination of the "Hamburger Casserole" and the "Corn Dish". The first one has too much stuff in it for me and the second one seems to need something more, IMHO.

Be sure to let us know what you ended up making and how it turned out!

:lmao: Ok, so I am having fun!:rotfl: I agree with combining the different recipes. Did I tell you that you are now my new best friend? :rotfl2:

We make something called Shipwreck.

Shipwreck

1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg noodles, boiled and drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can creamed corn
milk
grated cheese

Brown the beef and onion. Drain. Stir into the the cooked noodles. Add soup and corn. If it seems too dry, add a little milk. Pour into casserole dish and top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 until bubbly and cheese is melted.

You can easily adjust to make more. This is a very forgiving recipe.

yum yum yum that sounds good. Of course I have to sub ground turkey (Dh can't eat beef) and cream of something else (Dh is allergic to mushrooms) but, still sounds tasty.

You sound like me. I am always having to substitute something. I want to make a spaghetti pie but my 2 SIL's don't like cottage cheese. Now that's a struggle!
