We will be visiting the Kissimmee area in late March to finalize our plans to move down next summer. It will just be my husband and myself, and we will be driving. We are looking for an inexpensive, yet respectable place to stay (Days Inns aren't acceptable in our book in the Orlando area). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Well,

the Country Inn and Suites and Amerisuites hotels (shared properties) are new and gets lots of positive reviews. Includes breakfast.

Hampton Inn in LBV is good, too.

Hawthorn Suites, Summerfield Suites, Residence Inns in LBV and at SW are great.

Check out hotelkingdom.com for descriptions of hotels and then check the inviditual hotel webistes to compare priices. Lodging.com has some good prices too.

Hi there...I'm the Girl with the Magic Castle Pictures.

If you send me an email, I will send you a blurb that I wrote to someone asking a lot of question along with photos. We really liked it and is CLEAN and a good way to stay on a budget. There is a better price for AAA or Internet discounts, so ask about them. We got the AAA discount and they never checked our cards because it is the same as their Internet special.

See ya;)

Since you'll obviously have a car, I recommend the Best Western Kissimmee, it's clean, a bit far out of the way, but with a car, it's not too bad, and last time I was there in 97, they had a free first morning breakfast buffett, but that could have changed.

Fairfield Inn - there is a new one in the Marriott Village outside DTD. When we checked for rates during a conference we were considering it was $59 to $79 with no discount of any type requested. There is also a Springhill Suites (I believe that has breakfast included also) and a Courtyard (breakfast extra).

Also- watch the boards for discount rates for the Courtyard IN DTD area. They have GREAT specials periodically.
