No one I know can remember the name, or maker, of the cookie I'm about to describe. Please, help out a cookie monster here?!!!

Bottom part of cookie is like a soft graham/sugar cookie. On top of that is a marshmallow sprinkled with coconut, and in the center of that marshmallow is a raspberry jelly. I'm really hoping someone here knows what I'm talking about, because the employees at my supermarket think I'm nuts. LOL

I don't know but it sounds yummy!!

Hmmm...could you give us some idea when you last had this cookie and what area of the country you found it. I remember something similar but it didn't have the raspberry center and it was LONG ago. :teeth:

Quilt Teddy, there is no chocolate on this cookie.

ilovepcot, it has probably been 10 years since my last cookie like that. DH and I absolutely LOVE that cookie. I have been searching high and low, different towns, specialty stores, and no results.

Sounds kind of like a "snowball" cookie (at least I think that is the name of it). I have no idea if it has a Raspberry center or not as I have never eaten one.

I haven't seen those in years!! And now it will make me nuts until we find out the name.

Never heard of them, but if I did, you could keep them all! Coconut and marshmallow - yuck!

I love Mallomars, but I never cared for the cookies you're describing. I think they were called marshallow puffs.

Pimm's may make one like this. You should check the specialty part of the cookie aisle. There is a whole collection there of that brand and I think that is one variety.

Have asked several people today and not one single person has ever heard of anything like you describe. Be sure to post it if you happen to find it. I "thought" I knew every cookie out there. :teeth:

I remember the cookie you are talking about. I think that the local store in my town carries them still. I will check this week and get back to you. :teeth:

I remember the cookie you're talking about, but not the name. I didn't think I'd like them, so I never tried them.

While everyone is going crazy though...

There used to be a cookie (maybe Nabisco) that was a soft 'Nilla wafer type cookie on the top & bottom and marshmallowy stuff in the middle -- held together with some kind of brown sticky stuff. They were yummy, but I can't remember the name and I don't think they make 'em anymore.

Hope you can find your cookies!

Not sure why, but it sounds like a Famous Foods of Virginia (FFV) cookie. Yep, I was the wierd kid that read ALL the labels!
:rotfl:

I remember the cookies you are talking about.

Didn't they resemble a flower on the top? with the red being the dot in the middle of the flower?

:wave2: Tink. I know I'm not the Cookie you were asking about, but... :teeth:

I know the cookie you are talking about. I know that you use to be able to get them at Dollar General stores and Meijers. You might try there if you have any in your area. They are a specialty cookie not made by a major company (I use to work as a sales rep for a cookie company about 10 years ago) and so usually only places that get cookies from different places will have them.
