Looking for a campground....

Hey guys!

Haven't been on in a while, busy busy busy around here. Anyway... we are looking to head down to the Augusta, GA-Aiken, SC area towards the end of April. I'm having a hard time finding any decent campgrounds. Anyone know of any or stayed at any in that area? It would probably be for 4 days or so. There are some ok, pull over for one night type places but I need something a little bit more if we are going to be there for a few days. Thanks!

how far is Atlanta? Stone Mountain is really nice, a lot to do and the lazer show if they have it then is great

Atlanta is a good 2 hours east of Aiken/Augusta.

Nothing Carrol....I thought for sure you would know of a place. I'm thinking I'm going to have to settle for a hotel. I really don't want to though, I would like to take our dog with us. Back to searching

I live in North Augusta, and would suggest Petersburg COE CG on Lake Thurmond.
