Looking for a better rate at HIFS?

Hi, I have been reading these boards for quite some time and have gained so much valuable information here. Thanks to all for your wonderful tips. Thought I would share one I found this am. Anyone going to HIFS in June- Aug (not sure of exact dates), the Vtrip rate has dropped from $143 to $125. I just changed my reservations to that rate. Hope this helped someone!

Debbie...where did you get your valuetrip rates..I forgot where I found mine..but I am paying 143.00 a nite June 10-14(only 116 from June 4-10)!

I would love to change this!!

i tried to call the resort directly..and they will not give me that rate

Well, i called the hotel directly without any luck..the ressies desk said..NOPE..no change! She was little ***ictchy!!

So, I called 1800holiday directly...spoke to a real nice girl..who changed my ressies for 99.00 the entire time we are there! I had her email me a confirmation letter...and I got it..and it is for a kingkidsuite!! 99.00!!

wow..debbie..thanks..saved me about 500.000!!!!

I guess, the moral is..call 1800holiday directly!!!

I just checked the Holiday Inn website and for the middle week in August the rates dropped to $125. It looks like you can get that rate directly from Holiday Inn without the ValueTrips rate.

We were there last year and loved it. If it weren't for the great $49 rate at the All Stars I'd be tempted to switch to HIFS at that price.

Katie, I also checked your week 6/10 - 6/14 and it is also at $125.

I just changed my sister ressies also..she got 99.00 for June 8 and 9..and 125.00 for 10-14th! Another big savings!!

I used my priorty club membership to do this. This was quoted as a Best Break quote?

After reading this I called and changed my ressies too. It went from $116 to $99. That is a savings of over $100 for our stay. I love these boards.

We saved almost 400.00 with this( we are staying 10 days!!)

I told my husband..that is just more PS for us now!! and i even tried to get a TV/VCR for the ride down out of it...more on that later...!!

we are driving too-we have a tv/vcr and it is a lifesaver. I also hooked up our nintendo 64 as well. 2 days in the car-they will need it.

hey..coach..write an note to my husband outlining why exactly we need it..because he doesn't get it! We have always had one in the past for our trips to disney..however, he thinks the kids are older now and should be able to be good( HE IS A DREAMER..lol)

They are 6, 9 and 15!!

I think we need one BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

it is amazing what happens to rates when folks aren't traveling as much as they have in the past.
