I agree with Rich, it doesn't sound like VB is the right choice for you. It's a great resort so telling people not to buy for the reasons Rich stated above is not bashing the resort. He has been know for bashing the sales choices and development but never the resort itself. The savings in not enough to complicate your life this way and the dues are the highest by far in some cases. IF your goal is to stay at WDW almost exclusively, either buy where you want to stay the most or buy OKW or BWV. The reaons I say OKW and BW is that they are both readily available resale and the points are, or can be, much cheaper for the same week and unit size compared to WLV and BCV. OKW will be the cheapest in the long run and BWV the best compromise if you want the Epcot area. The reason you should buy on property is even if you don't way to stay at your home resort you can make an 11 month reservation and then try to change over at 7 months, if you do that at VB or HH, you are not at WDW.
