Hello fellow Disney lovers! I have a question, call it first time jitters, but I wanted to piggy back off this post because I just had my offer accepted for SSR... We are about to go into ROFR... If everything goes well then I would like to get more points directly from Disney. I want the benefits they give. Are those benefits worth it? Also, how likely will Disney exercise ROFR? I really like the deal, but Disney might not like it as much...

I bought a 25 pt add-on with the same use year. It was well worth it to me. I got a discounted AP, will be able to book a private after dark party for Animal Kingdom with new Pandora access, plus discounts on just about everything from merchandise, to meals, to guided tours, to special party's like Not so Scary, to admission to DVC lounge. Yes, for the small extra amount 25 points cost me direct vs resale, it was well worth it.

Yes, it has added an extra layer of enjoyment for me. I think I had to go on a wait list for a couple of weeks to get the direct points with my UY, but then it was super easy, just bought them over the phone with my Disney Visa and had docs along with a special tote bag and some DVC magnets shortly thereafter.
