Looking at 2011 points OKW & Boardwalk - is this strange?

(sorry if this has been discussed before)

Was thinking about planning my next trip for Sept 2011. My home resort is OKW. So, I thought of reserving OKW this month for next September, and then maybe trying to switch to BWV Std at 7 mos.

In looking at the 1BR, does it seem strange to you that OKW is 157 for the week and BWV for same room/season is 154? I kind of thought of BWV as newer, more preferred and higher points than OKW (even for std room).

And does this make sense?: It is 1 point more per night at OKW than BWV Sun-Thurs, but it is 1 point less per night Fri/Sat at OKW than BWV?

Especially bad for me since I have 150 coming 9/1/11 to borrow from 2012 and left 4 from this year so total 154 to use! 3 short for OKW but enough for BWV?

I gotta be missing somthing here!

You are probably looking at the BWV standard view points. Those can be equal to or just a few less than OKW points when you book a full week. Depending on the time of year, it can be difficult to get standard view at the 7 month mark.

do you think the reason that Fri/Sat is 1 more point per night at BWV because people are more likely to book a weekend at BWV than OKW?

That could be why, I guess.

I still think it is strange that Sun-Thurs is one point per night higher at OKW than it is at BWV (again, looking at 1BR STD Sept)

BWV is our home resort and I have noticed funny point differences too. We booked a trip 2 months prior and could not get BW. We could get into SSR, but it cost more points.??? We like OKW and have noticed that some times of year a stay there is higher than a week standard view at BW, some times lower or as you have said very close.
Supply and demand do not determine point structure!
