It was quite a day at school

one of our male teachers
who is a bit of a hot head
seems to condone his class acting like idiots for anyone but him

this is not new
it happens every year
they are horrible for the music, art, gym teachers
rude to everyone in the hallways
they act superior

we have a new program this year for group cohesiveness
and he really isn't with the program

this morning he asked me about one of his kids
who got in trouble in the bus line yesterday (not even by me!)
and (perhaps thanks to PMS)
I just laid it out to him in plain english that he ALLOWS his class to act this way


all my silent supporters (the other female teachers)
were staying hidden during this confrontation
cheering in silence and rooting me on, but from afar

I thought it actually went pretty well
I really think he reflected on his role after I pointed out exactly why his class acts the way they do
later he told me (privately) that he appreciates me telling him, and he can see my point


will it make a difference?
probably not


but maybe...........

as I got some sort of error....
