I was going to post these a little bit ago
but DS got done early at the pool
and I had to go pick him up

now DH is home
and I have ordered Pizza Joe for dinner
Yummo!

Why thank you for the compliments, Sarah and Snow!
I just transferred the shirts to the dryer
and they all look great....

excepto, the one for me, the dark pinkish one
which was the last one I did
and wasn't dry when I put them in the wash
sort of bled..and bleached in some strange spots
it is the only one Mickey is not clear on
so I will ahve to fix it with some fabric paint or better yet....SPARKLES!

We haven't had Pizza Joe for a long time
as the kids and DH prefer a new place that recently opened

but it was SO good tonight

DH had to force himself to stop eating
he thought he could eat the entire pizza
he has missed it so much!

next, the new luggage
which arrived just in time
for me to have lots of cardboard for my shirt making

nice luggage!

Okay, bleach shirt making 101

buy colorful t-shirts

make cardboard mickey heads
it is helpful to use your big ole disney mug for a circle size!

I learned when making the second head, NOT to use permanent marker, which I had to scrub off the Disney mug and the plate that I used.

pattern will go in the center of the shirts:

like so:

I love the pretty colored shirts.

Now, take the shirts outside before you spray with bleach!

sprayed, cardboard removed:

take outside to dry in the sun

all drying (last two still with cardboard inside)

now they are in the wash to get rid of the smell
then I may embellish them a bit

dont' know if I will spray words on the back
didn't get nice crisp outline of the mickey head
which is okay but not so good for letters

Now I want to do some too. Very good job!

You could make the same shirts I did, i
they were really quick and easy
the hardest part was cutting out a cardboard mickey head


DH thought they looked neat, too!
I am still thinking about the names on the back thing
I might get iron on letters though
I don't think bleach spraying them will be clear enough
and I don't have an eternity to hand letter all of them

DS is getting so tall, tan and muscled
he and DH are on the swimmers weight lifting plan
and DS is really getting muscles

DH, not so much!
