I gained five pounds on vacation, back to reasonable eating this week!

Sarah, that stinks about your sunglasses! I hope they get them done quickly for you.

The DWTS cast is kinda weird. A lot of people I had to look up. I do like Kelly Osborne tho... that should be interesting.

I started reading Sharon Osborne's biography (it was at our rental house) on vacation, interesting! I finished the book I took and the second one I took wasn't exciting at all, so I switched to Sharon.

i must tell you all

Tower of Terror was amazing!
I so love that ride.


It was incredibly hot in Florida (I may have mentioned it)
so we really, really, enjoyed the waterparks, especially Typhoon Lagoon!

I got lots of photopass pics that I need to enter
later today
the DD's are already pestering me to do things
not computer related

We had a most awesome and enjoyable time!
You know, with matching shirts, you hardly even notice the heat! remember that, Kimmy!

Snow, it is Mom's BD when you go, right?

The birthday fast pass was amazing for us.
They have changed it a bit since i read up on it here
you get a plastic card, that says birthday fast pass
and you can use it in the machines EVEN AFTER the fastpasses are gone
and it prints the time for right then
so you swipe it and get on

Toy Story Mania had a 100 minute wait, we walked right on!

there was a little confusion about how to actually get the card
we entered the park (hollywood studios) and went to guest services
which was wrong
you have to go to the Will Call outside the ticket booths
so I went back out with my drivers license and the printout from Disney that said it was my birthday (I know you registered too)

and the CM there said I needed EVERYONE in my party to get the cards
which I thought was wrong from reading about it here
but I went back in and got the rest of them (there were seven of us with my dad and his wife)
and we all went out to will call
and they gave us each a birthday fastpass card
all seven

PLUS you can use your ticket for fastpasses too,
so we would get one on our ticket, use one or get in line (at rope drop, no lines for rides)then use a birthday pass.... we just rode and rode with no waiting!!!!
Most enjoyable!

are you a little nervous?

I can remember being very excited, but very scared, too
the day before I went for orientation (a few days before classes started)

I was rather teary all day...
a bundle of nerves.

I was much better once I got on campus
I was about an hour away from home, too.

I will let Mom know but she really has her heart set on the gift card...she has already spent it in her head

After Chef Mickeys, (yum)
we went to MK and we all got ears
but it was too hot to wear them then
I kept them in the stow and go in the rental van
and we NEVER ended up posing for any pictures with the ears
it was always too hot!

I have seven pairs of ears here (forgot to leave two with my dad, but he can get them anytime, didn't care)

we may have to get a family portrait with them ...
in an air conditioned studio!

DH tried to convince me to get the gift card and spend it on me....
but we had the disney money from opening the visa's and the rewards on our Disney Visa
and I thought the "no waiting" would keep the kids much happier
and it definitely worked out for us!

the girls kept saying, "I love birthday fast pass, I hope they do it next year!"

you are hardly ever there when others are....

I had a tote with shower supplies
(I still have the tote) I keep it under the bathroom sink with cleaning supplies in it now

it may be an antique!!!

We actually didn't
We started at rope drop
had snacks about 11
lunch at pizza planet about two
and more snacks about four
no one was hungry for a big dinner

the girls were happy to keep getting frozen cokes or frozen lemonades
and DD10 thinks a soft pretzel IS dinner
and they had ice cream and popsicles....


so we didnt' do the sit down

(We came home with about 50 bucks on our rewards card, but it doesnt expire, we can use it next year!)

I have a tote too! It's packed up and ready to go
All of my friends and I are in the same dorm...one is 2 doors down from me!
I know it will all work out great...I can't wait to move in!
