Look at the new EK Success stuff coming in Nov!

I would prefer more park-oriented stuff. I guess Disney would just rather appeal to the larger scrapbook market, and not just people who are part of the theme park scrapping subset of the possible customers.

I would be happy if they would even just offer the park oriented stuff in the PARKS...I mean, seriously, if you scrapbook and you are AT Disney, you are going to BUY park orientated stuff! It just amazes
me that Disney doesn't get this. Thank goodness for postcards, I buy tons of those to use in my scrapbooks!

I scope out scrapping websites galleries from time to time and if you search Disney layouts that are posted, MOST about about trips to Disney. Yes, there are Christmas and Halloween ones, ect...but there are tons of trip layouts (I love looking at those! :goodvibes)

Oh, *I* agree with you, LOL, but I'm just looking at it from the point of view of the marketing guy who's making these decisions, who probably doesn't know a piece of vellum from wax paper.

To him/her ("random marketing person"), when they select, say, what is included in the Halloween "Capture the Magic" kit, they think : "hmmm...if we brand this all with MNSSHP logos, we'll only sell it for those few five hour periods the party is open, but if we make it generic Halloween, many more people will have the opportunity and will to buy it".

It does surprise me, though, that you can buy a half-dozen pins of each ride for $7-9 bucks, when stickers and such (which I'm sure are cheaper to produce) could be sold for $6-7 at each ride with the logos, etc., and they'd sell like hotcakes. People pay $5 for the EK stickers in the stores, they'd pay a few bucks more for ride-specific ones. (Although I couldn't afford many of them, LOL.)

I often use pins, keyrings, fridge magnets, patches etc on my layouts. If you look around (not just at Disney) you can often see souviners that can be 'adapted' to use as embellishments on pages, and often cheaper and better than official scrapbook items - just make sure that they don't actually touch your photo's if you're precious about acid etc.

I just got some of these at my local scrapbook store today ~~ they really are SO cute :) I picked up the Mickey/Minnie-Fireworks, the Haunted Mansion, Pirates, the Parade - can't wait to use them! It looks as if it's going to be a rainy week-end here ... just perfect for scrapping!!

I ordered them from Mousememories a few days ago and should be getting them today. I can't wait!

VERY CUTE!! Thanks for Sharing. I see a SCRAPBOOK RUN in my plans today!

C'PersMOm- Can I ask which store you found them in? Is it a chain like Michaels?

It was at a local scrapbook store (only one location), not at a chain. But I would bet they'll start showing up at Michaels soon :) If I see them there I'll post a note ~~
