Longest you have ever waited in line?

Probably Peter Pan's Flight (90ish minutes) and TOT (90ish minutes) in 2004. I was with a group from high school, and as much as I wanted to utilize the fast pass system to my full advantage, trying to corral 8 teenage girls into all agreeing on the same thing was near impossible.

That said, having a group that large worked to our advantage more often than not, as no CM wanted to deal with 8 chatty, giggly, loud teenage girls, so even when we had a wait a little bit longer, we often got our own groups ride vehicles (where applicable), and, my MOST favorite memory, got one on one time with Cinderella, Minnie and Mickey. The CM at Toontown Hall of Fame saw us coming, panicked, and brought us through the VIP entrance. It was awesome.

I'm a DLR AP'er, so the longest I'll willingly wait for a ride is at max 30 minutes, but I'm taking a more relaxed approach to our trip in April - if we have to wait, we wait! What else are we going to do, wait somewhere else? :)

Good lord, count me as a dad who would never ever do something like this. An attraction is not "well worth the wait" if somebody else is doing the waiting. If a kid is unwilling to wait in the line, the kid obviously believes that the reward is not worth the opportunity cost, and therefore it is not "well worth it."

the kid was willing to wait in line - at that time when Anna / Elsa were in Epcot - families were encouraged to leave just one person in line to help keep the area somewhat manageable in terms of crowd. Those waits got up to 6 hours long - Norway ended up being abnormally crowded. DD and I rode Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land and then walked over to give DH a break but he chose to stay in line with us.

20 minutes. We go to WDW often, so if a line is long, we just go do something else. I remember one spring break we walked over to BTMRR and the wait time was 3 hours. Turned around, had a lovely lunch and some relaxing resort time!

30 minutes is usually our limit, but we did wait a full hour to meet the fairies back in 2008. It was the day before Christmas Eve, mid-afternoon, so pretty much everything had a long wait by then anyway.

It was one of the best character interactions we've ever had though, so definitely worth it. And the kids had so much fun playing together in line that it passed quickly.

In 2005 my grandmother and i waited 3 hours for its a small world at disney world - it was during christmas busy times. luckily we did though because it was my grandmas favourite ride and the day later it went down for the rest of our trip

Last October we waited over 2 hours to meet Jack & Sally at MNSSHP. The line didn't look crazy, so I assured my group of 8 that it wouldn't take more than 30 minutes or so, LOL! Yeah, not quite. But everyone did great waiting, and we had four kids. We wouldn't do it again though!

About 2.5 hours for a Space Mountain in 1991. Our high school band was in WDW during Spring Break. Every time I walk through the queue I always remember that wait. That was such a fun band trip!

i believe maybe 75 minutes back in the day prior to FP- and FP+ for what was at the time the absolute most popular rides like space mountain, splash mountain, thunder mountain, and TOT.

the longest i've ever SEEN a line was 320 minutes for soarin in 2008 the week between xmas and nye.

In the late 1980's, Pre-Fastpass and EMH, probably about 90 minutes for Space Mountain and other headliners.

Peak time, Christmas vacation- longest wait 30 minutes for TSMM. We actually had a FP for the ride and 3 in our party of 9 were sent to the regular FP line and only waited about 10 minutes. Six of us were sent to the wheelchair ramp/line and ended up having to wait several cycles of the ride for the special vehicles to be available. There were several other handicap parties ahead of us, so that made our wait longer.

I was thrilled that we didn't have to wait in long lines.

Growing up in SoCal (1974-the early 90's) and going to Disneyland on the weekends we routinely waited 2 to 2.5 hours for Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Indian Jones etc...

It was normal to be there first thing in the morning until the last firework went off and only ride 6-8 rides on certain days ... ya know what ... we loved it. We sat in line and played cards and baked in the sun and complained and held spots while people used the bathroom. We'd take turns waiting the shade and then comeback into line. All things unthinkable today. Honestly, a 40 minute wait would have been average. Don't get me wrong, I love the reduced waits provided by Fast Pass and wouldn't change it, but I also have no problem waiting when need be.

I waited 1.5 hours to ride Everest during the passholder preview weekend. It was a fun time to ride it and I was with a group of people, after we rode it we headed over to an empty DHS and had an elevator to ourselves at noon in TOT. I think it was worth it but that was our whole purpose of the trip.

I've never had long waits at WDW because we've gone during slow times, but I'm used to long waits at Cedar Point. The big coasters on the weekends often have 90-120 minute waits. That's just how it is. (I don't go on the weekends in the summer any more because of it, but if that's the only time you can visit, that's what you do.)

We go during the summer. If you're not willing to wait in line more than 30 minutes you're only going to ride the train, the riverboat, carousel of progress, go up in the treehouse, watch the Presidents of the US, or see Stitch!

The longest I've waited is about 2 hours for Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Test Track, Rock N Roller Coaster. You pay a lot of money and you're using your precious vacation time to go to Disney World. I want to ride the good rides and if the lines are long then there's nothing I can do about that. I'd rather wait 120 minutes for Splash Mountain than spend that 120 minutes watching the Presidents and riding the Liberty Bell 3 times each.

I'd love it if July was less crowded. So do me a favor and tell people to stop coming in July!!!

Of course now I have little kids so we don't wait more than 40 minutes because they just can't really handle 2 hour waits.
I knew there was a reason we never go in the summer ;)

We've have waited no longer than 45 minutes, if that. We just love being in WDW. There is so much to do that it seems wasted waiting in a line too long. Although we usually find interesting people to talk with.

20 minutes is about our limit. If we only spend the first few hours at the park and leave when waits become longer we are okay with that. With the prior FP we used FP for all the main rides and rode the other rides in between.

This just isn't true. Maybe if you don't get to the park til noon and leave before 9. I don't care how crowded it is. You can knock out all the E and D ticket rides on one half of the park in the first 2-3 hours, and have FP+ reserve 3 more E ticket rides on the other side of the park during the afternoon when it's most busy. Take a long relaxing lunch, experience the things you mentioned, visit TSI, ride the people mover, Philharmagic, Monsters Inc during the afternoon/early evening. And if you're willing, you can probably get in several D-E ticket rides after Wishes.

Waited 1 hour 40 min for the 7 Dwarves at MNSSHP...........was 6 or 7th in line at 5:30pm...........for the 7pm start. Got the pic at 7:10. Given that the Dwarves are rare M&G characters I feel like it was worth it. Actually met a bunch of nice people in line. As far as rides........Waited about 60min for PPFlight..........most of the time nothing more than 40 min mostly because we go during slower times when most kids are in school.
