What is the longest time you have stayed at a DVC resort at WDW with points?
The longest stay we have been able to manage is 10 days in a 1 bedroom at BW. with the size of our family we have never tried a studio.
We found that even staying that long and going to the parks every day that we still leave wanting more.
We plan to use our points some year just for the lodging and trying Universal and other parks offsite.
What about you?

The longest we ever stayed was twelve nites (@ BWDVC) We never got tired of being "at the World". We had planned to visit USF and Sea World and maybe take a day to go over to Daytona, but it never happened. We went to virtually every show in every park to take in every kind of live entertainment Disney offered, and we enjoyed every one of them. Plus, we must have eaten at 20 different on-site restaurants, which was really great.

It never fails to amaze us how Disney grows and/or changes just enough every year to keep it fresh, no matter how often we go.

I stayed at OKW in a 1Br unit for 12 days one February. I had a bunch of points to use and really splurged. After all that time I was so relaxed and it really felt like my home. There were days I didn't even go to the parks (even with my free passes). It's such a great feeling to be able to just sit on the porch and watch the ducks and golfers all day.

Some day when I'm really stressed out I'm going to do this again.

We always go for 12 nights in a 1br... We absolutely love it, and we never have seen it all... I think we need to try staying 19 nights LOL... We'll need more points for that though!!

We have done 12 nights in a two bedroom on two different trips. Both times we had an itinerary which included trips to Sea World and Universal in our hands and both times, we did nothing but Disney. It's just like John G said, we never get bored with the Magic of Disney. Each and every parade and show and moment brings at least one of us a smile. This summer we are going for 9 nights and I am in a panic that it won't be long enough.. I'll be crying when we leave for certain!

We have our first 12 night stay at OKW in a 1 bedroom planned for 11/27 - 12/9. Due to vacation schedules, this trip includes 2 weekends, and required quite a few points, but we believe it will be worth the investment! We hope to get over to Universal's Islands of Adventure..but we'll see.

Our longest trip to date has been for 8 nights. We leave 4/28 for 8 nights at OKW..and hope to take a side trip to sea world. Who knows!!

Have a wonderful day!

21 nights, It costs so much to get from Northern Ireland, via London to Orlando that we either go every other year or further apart and try fit two three week vacations in within one 12 month period.

Next trip is Aug 2002 when we plan 19 days including OKW,DCL,VWL

That is pretty impressive that so many of you are able to stay so long as WDW.
Now I am wondering how many points you own and just how much money you spend on such long stays.
Disney should certainly be making sure to add lots of perks and programs to keep us DVCer's happy
Thanks for the replies!

I met a retired couple from Boston at VB the 1st week of November. I ran into the same couple at HH 2weeks ago and they had not been home since I saw them. They had spent the winter between VB, BWV and a couple of weeks at HH on there way home.

This is now my goal and this couple my heros.

Wow, you guys make me green with jealousy. My DH is Air Force and the most we've ever been able to manage is 13 days off, including weekends. He gets 30 days a year, but he must count weekends too. Basically he ends taking 5 here and 4 there. He also always loses leave in September, the fiscal year starts it all over again.

Then there is this problem with school age kids. I took mine out for the week before Spring Break, so we managed two weeks off. He's only in Kindergarten, but you'd think I had him miss finals or something. Something the homeschoolers don't have to worry about.

I can dream.
