Long visit - big rides once or more?

We're going to be at Disney for 2 weeks next summer and are getting the 10 day passes, and planning to actually be at the parks by opening for 10 mornings. When we went in 2000, we spent 3 days at the MK and basically hit all the big rides each morning - run to Space, followed by Buzz and Pooh during EMH, then sprint to the other side of the park and hit Splash and Big Thunder. Then doing whatever else we wanted to that day.

But with the number of days we have this time, is that overkill? Would we enjoy Splash more if we knew THIS was the only time we were riding it? Would this give us more time to do all the smaller attractions? Not as much at MK, but at Epcot, we never really seemed to get a chance to do all the interactive stuff at the end of each attraction, Innoventions, or really explore WS because we were busy running from TT to wherever each time!

Only exceptions I'm thinking of would be Buzz (know the kids would want to hit this several times), and EE and Soaring because those are new for us. Will we be depressed if we don't see Test Track EVERY time we're at Epcot? Or once we get home will we regret not making the most of our time? What would you recommend? We'll have 3 boys with us, 15, 14 and 12. Thanks!

I say hit them as much as your tummy and time allows. I find something new everytime I ride.

Hit your favorites as much as you can. Hit them early in the morning and again as the mood hits. But, please, please, take time to enjoy all the smaller attractions and nuances. You can miss so many things by hurring. Slow down. There is just so much to enjoy!

I agree with the two above posters. Everytime I see something I missed. And slowing down and looking around is very rewarding. The details are amazing at Disney.

We enjoy getting to the parks early and doing all the big rides that we want. Then as the parks get more crowded, we hit some of the more unpopular attractions and shows. Then if need, we go back to the resort for the a few hours in the afternoon to rest or swim, then head back to a park for the evening. They have a different feel when it's dark. In fact, I love to ride Splash Mtn at night, it's great coming over the hill and seeing Cinderellas Castle all lite up :goodvibes . I'm getting excited just thinking about it :teeth:

This trip we are spending all our 8 days at WDW (no Universal) and I'll allowed plenty of time for rides and to stop and enjoy all the other holiday delights that WDW will have. I can't wait :Pinkbounc !

Enjoy

We just got back from 8 days at just the Disney parks. If your boys are like my boys, they will be tired of riding some of the rides by the end. About day 6, there weren't many rides that my boys even cared about riding again. They wanted to ride Space Mtn, Splash Mtn, Soarin, TT, EE and the Rockin Rollercoaster multiple times, the other rides they didn't want to do again. We just spent the last days doing favorites. Work in some water park days if you can, my boys loved crushing gusher and everything at Blizzard Beach.
