How long does it take normally via taxi? I am finding flights to be $250 (total) cheaper than into SNA via Southwest... That's a big difference considering this is a last minute trip.
How about the time it takes? I did read that there is a set amount of $45 FROM the airport, but not from the hotel to the airport. We always fly in to SNA, so that is new to me!
When we took the taxi from Paradise Pier Hotel BACK to LGB, the guest service desk at the hotel gave us a coupon to lock in the flat rate back to the airport.
I've used both airports. When booking a trip, I'll go to the airport with the lowest airfare.
A taxi from LGB is only a few more dollars and a few more minutes to reach DLR.
Our last trip from SNA (via Uber) was only 16 minutes, door to door... If LGB is only 10 minutes more, I can handle that. I will look more into the various flight times and make a decision ASAP. Thank you all for your help!
We absolutely love Long Beach Airport and also the Jetblue flights and airfare into there from Seattle. I think it is well worth the extra 10-15 minutes driving time. It is a very small airport and easy to navigate, so you save time on that end. Yes, even smaller than SNA.
