Hello. We're flying into Long Beach Airport and looking for transportation options to our hotel in Anaheim.
Does anyone have any companies they recommend? We are a party of 6 adults.
Thank you.

We've used Sunny's transportation and liked them. We used them to/from SNA- Disneyland Hotel. They will pick up from Long Beach.

We use Executive Car Service, more expensive than Uber but less expensive than renting a car via Costco, plus then we don't have to worry about bringing a car seat.

Since there was already a thread title similar to what I was going to post, figured I would just re-use this one.

Disneyland used to be our home park when we lived in California. But we always have had a car with us. Even when we have visited since moving away, we always had a rental car because of needing it for other events in the area, or borrowing a car from family when in NorCal and driving down. We are planning on making a quick trip to Disneyland next month, flying into Long Beach. We are going to be a party of 5, probably with 5-6 suitcases, and 5-6 carry on bags. Trying to not rent a car for the trip as it will just sit at the hotel. Are there any options from Uber or Lyft that would accommodate that many people and luggage? Any other transportation options? Or do I just need to bite the bullet and rent a mini van?

Uber XL will sometimes fit 6 adults and luggage, sometimes not. So when we travel with a party this size (just did this weekend, 4 adults and 2 late teens), I use Lansky's. They are easy, reliable and make a grocery stop. It was $235 round trip from SNA to GCH and back with a grocery stop. If we had to do 2 Ubers each way, it would have been the same or more, and this was so very easy!

See my post above about Lansky's. If you rent a vehicle, it takes time on both ends to pick up the vehicle and return it, you have to fuel it up, and you have to pay to park it at many hotels at Disney. Add that all up and see what it compares to Lansky's or one of the other services folks here listed above. For me, the car service always comes out on top or around the same price, and the car service is much less effort!

It's looking like it may be more cost effective to rent a Tahoe/full SUV in Sacramento and drive down and drop off at LGB rather than fly and get Lyft/taxi/specialized transportation from the airport to DL and back to the airport.

We considered that this summer, but the one-way rental cost from Sacramento to LGB was way more expensive than flying/uber for our party of three, but with a party of 6 it probably is close to the same price. It would also give you the flexibility to stop at a grocery store for snacks and maybe even go out to dinner somewhere that isn't right next to the parks.

I think you have to decide how much spending 7 hours in the car "costs" and if the benefit having the car there for you to use during your stay is worth that cost, and how that compares to flying and getting a shuttle or two Ubers.

I had found a really good deal on a Chevy Tahoe rental with a pick up in Folsom, CA and drop off at SNA. Then I noticed that Southwest had flights into Long Beach for $85 one way. Did the math, with the cost of the gas for the trip and the parking fees at the hotel, flying + Uber/Lyft fees still came out cheaper. So now we will get to the park a little earlier and saved my back from that 7 hour drive!
