Well, the tickets were purchased today, we're heading back across the pond! :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

We'll be flying into London and plan on spending a day or two there before taking the chunnel to Lille to meet up with my in-laws. And then coming back and spending a few days before we leave in January.

We're flying into Heathrow and need to get to Waterloo, any help on the easiest way to get there with luggage and three kids would be fabulous! Also hotels around Waterloo - I'm so excited, I've been bugging DH to take us to London - I finally get to!! YAY!! :cheer2:

Hi, for the tube take the piccadilly line up to leicester square and change south on the northern line straight into waterloo, for uk hotels try www.superbreak.co.uk or www.needahotel.com, maybe travelodge have one in that area, they would certainly be cheaper than a 'proper' hotel, also you'll be in a really good position for the london eye.

There's a lovely Marriott Hotel at County Hall right next to the London Eye and over the road from Waterloo Station.

Check it out here: <a HREF="https://marriott.co.uk/Channels/globalSites/propertypage/UK/LONCH">County Hall Marriott</a>
