I am exploring purchasing a DVC membership and was wondering if you can be flexible with your reservations. Is it realistic to rent a studio for 2 nights with my immediate family and then switch into a 2 bedroom for days 3 - 6 once our extended family arrives?
Thanks

Welcome to the Dis-Boards.

Yes it is possible to do what you are saying and I have done it in the past. At check in make sure and tell the CM what you are doing and they may even let you stay in the studio portion of the 2BR. All you will have to do is check out and check in again, then open up the door to your connecting 1BR section. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't depending on the occupancy levels.

Have fun.

Sure, you can do that!

Flexibility is one of the advantages to the DVC point system. Reserve the room size & dates you want (subject only to the number of points you own and availability).

Best wishes -
