Logistics of cobbled together reservation

Hi,

I've rented points and I have a reservation for BCV (2BR) for 1/20/15-1/25/15 (5 nights).

I'm actually getting in town on the 17th. I currently have nights at POP booked for the 17th-20th (3 nights, room only).

I've had conflicting reports that BCV (2BR) is available on the nights of the 17th and 19th, but not the 18th. This isn't terribly surprising in that it is MLK weekend.

The conflicting reports may be because I think the availability on the 17th and 19th is a 2BR lockoff, not dedicated (but this is speculation by me).

If I got a reservation for the 19th (which is the night before what I currently have), would I have to be switching rooms between the 19th and 20th? If so, would I be without a room from 11-4?

I suspect that it may be tough to get a definitive answer, but is it possible/likely that I'd be switching rooms?

It depends it has to be the same room type and then if it is the same room category you would have to have the person you rented the points from call and link them. I don't think they can link it if it is reservations from 2 different members but if it is the same category you may be able to request it when you get to the resort.

If you have to switch rooms you will be with out a room from 1100 am until your new room is ready.
