I am trying to make sense of the program. We signed up during our first stay in February. We are going back in a couple of weeks. Does the blue status go in effect when you check in for your second stay or your third stay. Also, what does the room upgrade consist of? What do you have to book to get an upgrade to club level? Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if it comes into effect , but i would assume it does.
As for Club Level upgrade, this is not an option for any YouFirst member irrelevant what your status is, No Free upgrades to Club ,you have to pay.
 
You only go up in level after a qualified stay. So you do not get credit for that stay for up to 2 weeks later. So yes you can take benefit of you blue status beginning your third stay. Club is not listed but I have heard that sometimes you can upgrade for $50 or so at checkin, but it would be easier to call and ask.:thumbsup2

All upgrades are applicable to certain room and suite types only and subject to availability. Blue members receive a room upgrade, if available, upon arrival. Gold members receive an upgrade to a premium room, if available, guaranteed at time of reservation. Gold members can also enjoy a suite upgrade for only $50 per night, if available upon arrival. Platinum members receive a premium upgrade, if available, guaranteed at time of reservation. Platinum members receive a suite upgrade, if available at time of reservation, at no additional cost.

That chart confuses me because it never seems to jive with what I am told..

We have stayed at HRH one time - but we still have 'member' status and cannot be considered for an upgrade for our September trip...but since its our 2nd stay, I would have read that chart and assumed we could???

HRH does not qualify for any youfirst. It is not a Loews hotel.
