loews upgrade to platinum during stay

With our next stay we will qualify for Platinum. Will this count during the vacation or wil lwe have to wait for the next one ? I put that I am loews gold on the ressie via internet.

Upgrade to platinum kicks in after your completed stay. The new card can take awhile to get.
